Strategy & Planning
- Strategic consulting

Project Management
- Schedule management
- The first step of schedule management is to develop a master schedule leading up to the project completion date set by the client, optimized by taking into account a multitude of conditions: there are specific requirements related to the client’s business operations or building tenancy agreement, their internal authorization process and the lead time for each stage of the project, from concept planning and basic designs to detailed designs, procurement, construction and installation. There are also various conditions imposed by the property management agency or building work contractors.
The schedule management involves the identification, using the critical path method (CPM), of critical tasks that potentially push back the project completion date. It requires an overarching view of the entire schedule while identifying the expected completion date for each task, risks of delays, and countermeasures. If the schedule is particularly tight, we apply various techniques, such as crushing and fast tracking, to compress the procedures in our best effort to meet the client’s requirements.
At Midas, we guarantee an orderly pursuit of your project end to end, making sure that we always update you and other stakeholders with the progress and milestones of the project schedule.
- Quality control
- For every project, Midas forms a dedicated team comprising Project Managers, Designers, and Construction Managers, to follow through from planning and designing to execution and beyond.
In the design phase, the whole team participates in checking the designers’ output, ensuring that the client’s requirements are thoroughly taken into account and the proposal is above and beyond the client’s expectations, before presenting it. The design team themselves also reviews the design concept and quality through their constant efforts to improve the proposal.
The quality concerning the design and installation is ensured with reference to the Standard Specifications for Renovation Work (the construction , electric equipment installation, and mechanical equipment installation work editions), under the editorial supervision of the Government Buildings Department, Also providing special specifications, we clarify and secure our quality standard. During the implementation, we monitor and verify the installation work and progress in a weekly meeting. The interim and final inspections serve as opportunities to evaluate the work quality, and any observations for correction are followed up to completion.
- Bid coordination
- Midas offers support for our clients’ bidding for vendors and suppliers, including the formulation of requirements for products and services, preparation of Request for Proposal and shortlisting prospective candidates.
Our unique system of comparison allows us to effectively evaluate each tender on cost, quality, schedule and any other criteria specified by the client, helping them with the selection process.
- Site administration
- Midas regularly coordinates an on-site meeting. This is an ideal opportunity to inspect for any discrepancies between the design and on-site execution, delays in the schedules, and vendor coordination. The client will be updated with our latest comprehensive progress report.
Our presence on site is also important for ensuring safety protocols are properly observed to avoid any work-related incident.
- Relocation/Move Coordination
- Moving into a new office tends to be a major operation for any client. Midas renders support in organizing this operation with a well-considered plan that minimizes the impact on the client’s business operations as well as the relocation cost.
Our coordination service is designed to eliminate the possible risks on the day. We engage relocation service vendor to organize briefing sessions for you and arrange moving manuals as well as packing materials. IT and other vendors will also be coordinated to make your move stress-free.
