To protect the privacy of its customers and others, Midas Company, Ltd. (“the Company”) stipulates and rigorously complies with a Privacy Policy as follows, regarding the handling, in the course of business operations, of information that can be used to identify individual customers or persons related to business partners (“personal information”).

1.Acquisition of personal information

The Company gathers information in a fair and appropriate manner.
The Company specifies the purpose for which it is gathering personal information and gathers only the information necessary within the scope of that purpose.

2.Use of personal information

Personal information is only used within the scope necessary for the performance of Company operations, and only by persons authorized for the performance of specific operations.
In cases where the Company uses the personal information jointly with another entity, the Company shall specify as clearly as possible the purpose for which the information is used as well as other items as necessary.
The Company shall not use personal information for any purpose other than that indicated when the information was gathered.

3.Disclosure/provision of personal information to third parties

Personal information may not be divulged or provided to third parties without the express agreement of the individual, except in the following cases:

(1)Disclosure or provision of the information is required by law. (2)The information is disclosed or provided in such a way that the individual cannot be identified (as statistical data, etc.). (3)The information is disclosed or provided to a contractor for use within the scope necessary for operations.

4.Disclosure, revision and cessation of use of personal information

If the individual requests disclosure, revision or cessation of use of the personal information, the Company shall respond to said request, upon confirmation of the individual’s identity.

5.Management of personal information

The Company strives to take sufficient safety measures to prevent loss, falsification or reproduction of, or unlawful access to, personal information.
When the Company outsources the processing of personal information, it takes the necessary measures to safeguard the information, including concluding agreements with contractors requiring safe management measures.
The Company stipulates and implements regulations regarding the handling of personal information and continually updates said regulations.

6.Compliance

The Company strictly complies with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the handling of personal information. The Company strives to revise and improve this Privacy Policy from time to time as necessary.
